From the composer. I regret that I was unable to
attend the concert on 12/9/07. Again Charley proved his
considerable talent with an excellent performance of this
difficult work. But then - he always does make my music sound
good. I very much appreciate the wonderful performance by
Andrew and the talented members of the Southampton
Sinfionetta. As a composer I am always happy to have my
music performed - and I am thrilled when it is done so well. I
am also honored and indebted to the committee for selecting
the Concertante for this program. Bravo all.
